i hit a power pole and i didnt have insurance, will getting it now have any help?

No, any insurance you purchase now will not cover an accident that has already occurred. The policy is effective as of the time you start it and doesn't cover anything that happened before that time. If insurance worked that way then nobody would buy insurance unless they just had an at-fault accident.
You will need to either repair the damage out of pocket or not fix the vehicle. You might also be on the hook for repairing damage to the power pole if any occurred. The damage you caused to the power pole would be covered under the liability portion of your insurance policy if you had one.
In the future, if you do have auto insurance and have an at-fault accident the damage to your car would be covered under collision if you select that coverage. This has a deductible which is the amount you pay before insurance coverage kicks in. Most people have a $500 deductible for collision.
