Dealing with the Vern Fonk office has been hit or miss when it comes to quality of assistance from them. I am not sure if the office is understaffed or they are just trying to drive sales numbers, but there are times it takes me calling 5 times in a day to reach an agent to help assist me with anything other than taking my money. The quality of customer service at that office is also a horrible experience. Inez, I believe is the receptionist, is very unhelpful and rude when I’ve asked for assistance in the past. I have been with this insurance agency for over 5 years and I am sure my plan is horribly out of date, and we are probably over paying for what we have, but I have gotten to the point that I no longer call the office for anything and just don’t contact my agent at all. I also notice that they leave off details such as there will be a $75 fee” associated with renewing your insurance so when two charges came on my credit card statement I was surprised that they would leave that out. Even if it is a normal fee, being told that it is going to happen is something that a customer needs to know. I am looking around for other insurance agencies to find something better. There are times in life when paying just a little bit more for actual customer service and care is worth it. “
