Your license could eventually be suspended for unpaid parking tickets in New Jersey. Usually license suspension happens over more serious violations. A parking ticket is a minor violation, but it could get expensive if you do not pay your fine. Surcharges, late fees and other penalties are added when you do not pay for the violation.
It would take a year or two for it to get to the point of losing your license, but it could eventually happen. The greater concern would be the additional fees you will have to pay for not paying your tickets on time. If it does come to that, you will still have to pay the fines as well as late fees in order to get your license back.
