My fiance and I asked for an estimate. Agent stated he could not match the amount of the policy. He could not understand why the mortgage company would not accept the terms. I had forwarded the email regarding the reason the mortgage would not accept, and he made rude remarks questioning the lender’s intelligence. The lender worked really hard for me, and was very embarrassed. So I got my estimate. Then a week later, he calls me and tells me that he is gonna bill me for the insurance. I did not ask for the new home to be added. I only asked for an estimate. He had also drove to the new home to provide the estimate, which I could not understand. I am looking for a new agent, and feel he needs some type of training on how to give estimates and word his professionalism in emails.
