The agent is local and available to handle problems. We can directly access the agents, not a distant call center. I like having the ability to drive 10 minutes and visit the agent office. They are helpful with checking rates and changing policies as necessary. In the past I’ve had insurance that was not locally administered. In that case, it took a while to access a local affiliate. At times of crisis, having to wait for an agent to arrive from another part of the state is stressful. A local agent provides the quality of service that I prefer. It is better for me and my family. The local agent has also been available to answer any questions without having to wait on hold forever with a call center located across the country.
