Our agent seems pretty good. We’ve only had a few problems. We got our house and the insurance to go along with it, soon after we got a letter in the mail saying we needed to clean up some things on the property or lose service in 9 months. We did what was asked immediately and thought everything was fine. Then about four months later we got a letter telling us that our insurance was going to be cancelled. We were very surprised by this and called our agent. He was nice about the whole thing and acted as though he wasn’t sure what went wrong. He sent us the pictures they had taken of the problems, most of which were pretty ridiculous, and told us to just send him pictures back of the problem areas, showing they were fixed. We went out to take the pictures then sent them over to our agent. After we sent the pictures we gave him a call and he assured us he would take care of the rest. So everything turned out ok in the end for that situation but it left a bad taste afterwards.
The only other problem I can think of with this agent is after we signed up we kept getting calls from someone in his office asking us to take a survey. This went on for months, calls every few days requesting information for a survey. It was pretty annoying, and one would figure they would get the point after maybe a week or so that we were not interested in answering their survey. Yet they called for about three months I’d guess pestering us to answer a survey.
Other than that, no problems. Though I have not had much contact with them at all.
