1. My father recommended this insurance agent to me, and has been using him for over ten years. When I first called Hugh it took a few hours to get a return phone call. After discussing the renters insurance options, he quickly asked about the type of apartment and if we had fire sprinklers in our place. After providing a quote quickly I had little interaction with him except for a few emails. We corresponded about returning the signed paperwork, which was very easy and to the point. However, I was frustrated when I did not receive a confirmation email that he had received the completed paperwork that I sent. I let this issue go and did not contact the office again until I wanted to cancel my policy. When I ended my policy I did not even have to talk to Hugh, I just ended it with the receptionist at the front desk. This was easy and I appreciated this. Overall it was an okay experience, but nothing that I would write a recommendation about. He was accommodating but not extremely helpful with picking out a policy or making sure I was happy with my coverage.
