Farmers Insurance claims that they have to over insure my house because of rebuilding costs even though I can buy a new property that is nicer for less. When I purchased my home, the property was insured for that much; it has just gone up an up even during the housing crises when the value of many homes plummeted.
Auto insurance just keeps going up even without any claims. I dropped collision on one of my older cars, and the liability coverage on that vehicle went up because without collision I am a higher risk.
Insurance adjuster when I was back ended favored the other party – thought they were my insurance company. I was back ended and the fault was placed on me. Unbelievable, and my agent did NOTHING to help me.
