I am on a policy with my parents. my dad sold his car and she cancelled insurance on my car instead of his and then I was driving around without insurance for weeks and I didn’t know until I got a check for a return payment. They also reported an accident that my sister got into on my record so when I went to look into other companies, my rates were through the roof because I had an accident on my record that I was not involved in. Then they told me that I have to do a stupid amount of things to get it off my record, when I think that they should fix it because they made the mistake. They also increased my rates without telling me and it was like a 20 dollar increase every month. It was a terrible experience. I want to go to a new company but i can’t until my record is fixed.
