I was previously with another state farm agent that was located about 30 miles away. The agent was an older gentleman who passed away. I started shopping around for other state farm agents in the area. I saw that this one was local and so I called and signed up with them. I did have some trouble because my former agent did not want to quickly give up any information to the new agent or transfer my policy over. I had to make several personal visits to that office and demanded that the policy be changed over because I had moved and would no longer be able to deal with that agency because it was now a long distance from home. It took several tries from myself and the new agent but we eventually transferred the new policy.
