I was referred to this agent by AllState help line. She is the agent that represents AllState in my area. The price she quoted for car insurance was about 50% cheaper than the price I got from Geico, which was my current insurance carrier at the time.
Andrea spent about 2 hours with me on the phone. She carefully walked me through the sign up process for the car insurance. She pulled my record from DMV and was helpful throughout the process. Since she quoted me at a great price, I did not hesitate to purchase the coverage. The coverage parameters were not any different from my previous policy with Geico. I was happy to ditch Geico for that price.
In addition, Andrea gave me a quote for homeowners insurance with a company that AllState typically partners with. The price for homeowners insurance was also competitive, partially because I was going to buy both policies. The coverage parameters for the homeowners insurance were the same or similar with the company that Geico partners with, so I was happy to buy both policies.
The conversation throughout these 2 hours was pleasant and casual. I did not sense any desperation coming from Andrea and she clearly was getting enough business, with or without me. After the sign up process was completed, Andrea sent me a bunch of documents by email and asked me to sign them and fax them back. My policy started on the discussed date with no surprises. Renewals are automatic and effortless.
Overall I’m happy with my choice.
