Three years ago, I was rear-ended on a highway. I was in a compact car and the offender was driving a large pick up truck. My only vehicle was totaled from the accident, but was/is still drive-able. I immediately called my insurance agent and he advised me to wait for a police offer to arrive and write a report. He was very patient and sympathetic and immediately started a claim with my provider. My agent guided me through the steps of what to do after an accident in a calm and very understandable manner. I recovered the cost of my car and my insurance policy was adjusted (because now the car is technically totaled). I went to a chiropractor for neck pain and was able to use money from my policy to cover the expenses. Al was a great help to me during this unfortunate experience.
