In over three years, I’ve never had to make any claims myself on my insurance polices with State Farm. Last year, I added my girlfriend to the policies and they were easy to work with as we determined the right level of coverage for her car (which is older than mine and doesn’t require the same limits). She did have to make a claim last year following a incident involving a pedestrian running into a highway in a low-light situation. Though, I did not directly interact with them, they seemed sympathetic and guided her throughout the process and ensured she was comfortable at all steps. They set her up with a local body shop (who did a good job) and our only expense was the deductible. They’ve also been easy to work with whenever I’ve had to contact them for administrative changes.
