We recently moved to PA and had to change our insurance over to the new state. I called Progressive since that’s who we had previously. They said I had to go to a local agent to switch it over. Driving down there was a hassle, I’m not sure why you can’t just switch it over the phone, but oh well. The agents we dealt with in the Shirley Katz office were very quick and efficient and we didn’t have to wait long at all. The experience was pleasant with both vehicles that we registered on two separate occasions. The fees were a little more than I was expecting but that’s just how it is in PA. Overall I’m satisfied with my local agent and will continue to use them for my insurance needs in the future.
