She was good at explaining the different options for my health insurance. She laid out the various possibilities including low and high deductible plans back when I was self-employed and had to get insurance quickly. She pointed out that I could always change the coverage if I felt that the deductible was too high and that I was spending too much out of pocket each year. I once had to appeal a decision that the insurance company made to raise my premium because they said that an eye condition for which I had been treated posed a high risk of future surgeries. She guided me through what I needed to do to file an appeal very thoroughly, and I filed the appeal and Aetna backed down and lowered my premium.
