I have minimal experience with my insurance agent (thankfully). He has always presented me with a myriad of options and explained them clearly and in detail. I have never felt that he was being overly pushing in explaining a new or different service to me. I have car insurance and renter’s insurance through his office. The car insurance is fairly straightforward. The renters insurance mostly offers peace of mind. Billing is relatively easy. After my first payment, all payments could be made online. I pay for the car insurance in two billing installments (every six months). The renters insurance is cheap so I paid for the year in full upfront. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service but I have not made any claims since getting it. I don’t know anyone who was dissatisfied with insurance without ever trying to use it.
