1. We were handed off to Kent Rouse after our current State Farm agent closed up shop. At first we were a bit put off that our account was just handed over to someone else but we have been pleasantly surprised with Kent and his group. We have had minimal contact with him which is a good thing. Our policy is sound and the billing is automatic every month so little necessary contact is a good thing. The few times we have had to call about billing questions or payment changes the staff was always very friendly and helpful. Changing our payment method is as simple as a one minute phone call and then a paper sent via e-mail right away to sign and return. Very quick and efficient. State Farm has dealt directly with our mortgage holder Chase bank which is also wonderful. We haven’t had to play the middleman there at all. They bill Chase yearly for our homeowner’s premium and we don’t even have to see any communications or be bothered with that whole billing process. We also had to add on our landlord renting policy. That was a very quick over the phone process as well which was nice. They explained to us in language we could understand what it is we needed for our rental condo to protect ourselves and made recommendations that we ended up following. They seemed very knowledgeable in that field and appeared to understand our best interests. All in all we came out with a good fairly priced policy with very few inconveniences. I would recommend them to anyone.
