I moved from New York to Florida for a teaching position. I had to transfer my car insurance over to a Florida State Farm Agent. I began here (Lee County) living with my cousin in Lehigh Acres. Teresa was welcoming and happy to help. She even offered me life insurance at what she called a competitive” rate. I did not take it and now find the offer suspect. When I moved into my own place, it was across the county, Cape Coral. So naturally I called to transfer my policy to a Cape Coral Agent. You would have thought I committed one of the seven deadly sins. “You are still in a reasonable driving distance,” she practically yelled into the phone (23 miles or 51 minutes) Wow… Their motto may be: be a good neighbor. But once you are not, they become an enemy. Teresa Goodlad is only a good neighbor when you are on her books and putting money in her pockets.
