1. My husband and I left our parents’ insurance plans and signed on with Denise Thomas’ office just before we married in late 2007. For quite some time, we enjoyed working with her, and were consistently impressed with the ease of working with them and their excellent customer service. Unfortunately, over the past year, we have been increasingly disappointed with their service. To start, they seem to look for any opportunity to raise rates, even minor incidents and not at-fault incidents. Second, their service has become much worse. In the course of handling one claim, the same employee of Denise Thomas did not follow through on two simple tasks she was supposed to perform to ensure the proper and timely completion of our claim, one of which could have resulted in my driver’s license becoming suspended and the ensuing fees and charges that would have carried, and the other meant that our claim could have been completed and closed out a whole month later than it was. We will be researching other agents to carry our insurance.
