I’ve been with this particular insurance office for over 15 years, begun on the recommendation of a family member. I originally started out working with another agent I liked better, but was transferred to my current agent when that one left. I had one auto insurance claim that took forever to resolve – there was a medical claim that the hospital tried to keep billing me for although it was not my responsibility, and Erie and the hospital were not communicating properly. I was becoming very stressed about these bills, and finally got someone at Erie to write a letter saying the hospital couldn’t bill me anymore. Policies take several go-arounds to revise, since they don’t always update everything I ask for at one time. The service overall is average – it’s not worth the trouble to try finding another agent, but I don’t think I would recommend this particular office to anyone.
