My relationship with my agent has not been incredibly positive. I get the sweeping suspicion that I’m being ripped off. The cost of my insurance is much higher than I was expecting. My agent keeps making mistakes at every step of the process and is more interested in trying to sell me extraneous life insurance that I don’t need. When I tell him I don’t need any of these extra insurances he’s somewhat pushy and tries to convince me otherwise even though I already get many of them through my work. It just seems like I’m being taken for a ride and that they’re trying to squeeze every last dime out of me instead of keeping my business. I will probably be finding another insurance company if things don’t change.
