1. I started working with this agent’s office when I was 17. They used to spend hours explaining things to me that I didn’t understand about insurance. At that time that was just about everything! As time moved on and I grew up they continued to help me find the best for what I needed. They would recommend various options for the coverage I needed. When it was time to buy insurance on my first home they were there to explain what coverage was available and give me recommendations on the best options. Then unfortunately disaster struck. In my ignorance I treated insurance like a cash cow. Any small thing that went wrong I filed and insurance claim on. Ruined kitchen ceiling from a leaky pip file a claim. Burst swamp cooler line leaked on a bedroom ceiling filed a claim. Then the huckster arrived. I get a knock at the door and it’s a roofing company. They noticed that I lost some shingles in the last big windstorm. They say hay we will replace your roof for whatever your insurance company will pay for it at no extra cost to you. So I go for it. I file the claim and then wham. I get a letter from State Farm corporate. They are dropping my insurance because I file too many claims. In a panic I call Mike. This man moves heaven and earth to try and help me. He calls corporate many times. Argues with them for weeks. Does everything he can to get them to change their mind to no avail. In the end he was a victim of the corporate machine. However I’ve never forgotten all that he and his staff have done for me over the years. I would gladly use him for my insurance needs for anything.
