1. My husband has had car insurance with State Farm for many years but when we moved to Nashville, from Ohio, Michael reached out to us because he was the closest agent to our new address. We really didn’t work with him often, only when there was a claim but he was always really helpful. Then an adjacent apartment caught fire and smoke filled our apartment and ruined a lot of our stuff. It was a pretty scary experience. Recently we purchased a house and went to Michael for homeowners insurance quotes. Obviously a huge subject for us to discuss was fire damage, how that would work if something similar should happen. Having gone through it we wanted to know if they would put us up in a hotel, for how long, would they cover all of our individual items, etc. We were in his office with him for hours going over this what-if scenario. He knew his stuff so well. He answered every one of our questions and was honest about what we should add and what we probably wouldn’t need to have covered. He explained how different items will be covered, for instance, my husband is a guitarist. So Michael explained to us how it’s different coverage on items if you make money with those items, etc. We will stick with him for anything that we need coverage for. It’s nice to have someone you can trust.
