I was using Liberty Mutual for homeowners and car insurance. When my renewal came up in March they raised my rates by almost 40%, so I went online and asked for quotes. Although 4 agencies responded, only two of them did a good job of providing the proper quotes, and following up. I sent emails back and forth, and finally called Clark Insurance Agency. They immediately responded, and worked hard to get answers to all my questions regarding deductibles, and coverage options.
I had been with Liberty Mutual for 27 years, so I was quite unfamiliar with the decisions I needed to make to be sure I was covered without paying too much. Although Mr. Clark went on vacation in the middle of my process of transferring my coverages, Martin Speicher picked up the issues without any hesitation, and professionally resolved all my issues. When it was all done, I had actually purchased homeowners, car and an umbrella policy for far less than I would have paid Liberty Mutual for less coverage. As I have never, ever filed a claim with Liberty Mutual, I do not anticipate needing this coverage, but am happy that Aetna Insurance stands behind this policy, and I would not have purchased coverage this important from an independent, small company.
For me, I did not need much phone conversation, and was very happy to correspond with this agency and agent by email. They even sent a contract through email, and I simply signed and sent back to them. They made it very simple, making me wish I had done this a year or more earlier instead of putting it off until Liberty Mutual left me no choice due to their steep rate increases.
