Initially, I had switched from GEICO to State Farm in order to save 10-$20 each month. Although I did save as much as I anticipated, the coverage was reasonable, and my initial impression of the company was good, I came to regret having Ryan Walheim as an agent. After being with State Farm for nearly 2 years, I decided to sell my vehicle. Ryan assured me that he would cancel my policy, and further guaranteed that he would reimburse me any money that I was owed. Contrary to his personal assurances, Ryan did not cancel the policy and I continued to receive a bill. It took several weeks to get the problem sorted out, and I had to speak with different State Farm representatives.
Ryan Walheim was an okay insurance agent to begin with, and a friendly person. But if you have an issue that needs resolved, he will likely do the opposite of what he tells you.
