I just moved to Sarasota to go to college at the time (5 years ago) and needed to insure my car, so my roommate suggested that I contact Mr. Chepote, since he was my roommate’s and his family’s agent. He told me the guy was very professional and that I wouldn’t have any problems at all. I didn’t really have time to search around for other insurance agents / agencies, and I also heard great things about Allstate before, so I trusted my roommate. I called the agent and we met at his office the next day for a brief meeting. Since then I’ve been insured by him and Allstate. I set up a recurring payment from my credit card and had no issues with payment whatsoever. I’m a set up once and forget kind of person, so this works great for me. Service has been great as well. Thankfully I haven’t had any need yet to contact Mr. Chepote, but I do occasionally receive emails from him / Allstate with various news about the insurance, etc. Had no claims yet either. One time I had to call him was when I had a problem paying speeding ticket online, so I went to DMV and on my way there called him and asked whether my payments were going through since I couldn’t remember which credit card I was using for my insurance. He was very polite and told me which credit card I was using and that everything was okay on my side. Overall, I can’t imagine a better experience with any other agent, very satisfied with my agent.
