1. This agent bought the agency I was actually with before and so I just moved with the new agent and agency. Perhaps that was a mistake. This agent doesn’t get involved in the business. Perhaps he’s too busy or perhaps he’s too high up now to get involved in actual work of dealing with clients. He leaves the work to the people out front in the office. They’re nice enough and seem knowledgable enough but they’re not the owner, or they? So long as I had nothing to report and I had no problems, then all seemed well. They were happy enough to take my checks every year and cash them but that was about it. I paid on time and up front for more than 15 years. But then I had a claim and there were for the most part no where to be found. I went to the office several times and the people out front acted concerned and called the adjustor in the next state and faxed documents to the adjustor but when the adjustor didn’t want to help me, in fact did everything but help, then the agency was helpless to do anything. I called, I emailed, i asked for help, but that was it, they had done all they could, they had reached the limit their abilities or their interest and that was it. They had more or less washed their hands of me. All they wanted now was my money. Well, let them try a little harder.
