I called my local State Farm agent two weeks ago, because my auto insurance with Alfa had become too expensive with two teenagers on the policy. I heard State Farm had better prices. They do have better prices, but there was an error with my quote that I didn’t find out until a few days ago. State Farm had quoted my a price based on my 16-year-old daughter being married, and when they discovered their error and corrected it, my insurance went up $200 per year. So it’s more expensive than I’d hoped it would be, but I’m still saving $1,000 per year on four vehicles over what I was paying for Alfa insurance. I like having a local agent, located just 15 miles away. We just started using State Farm, so I don’t know how their claims service will be, but hopefully I won’t need to find out!”
