I selected this particular agent via the recommendation of my mother who lives in the area. I didn’t have much occasion to deal with him, as I never had to file any claims. I dealt with him quite a bit in the beginning as he helped me select which coverage would be best for me. After a couple of years with him I got married and he helped me select new coverage that included my husband. For a while we both had a policy with him but my rates went up twice with no explanation so we started looking elsewhere. I’d initially called to ask about the rate increase but never got a satisfactory answer. I was just told that it happens sometimes”. I understand that rates fluctuate but there at least needs to be a reason for the changes.
