When my wife and I lived in an apartment years ago our apartment manager required us to get renters insurance because of a fish tank that we owned. At that time we did not have insurance through state farm but the insurance we had at that time (which for some reason I can’t recall which one we had before state farm) did not offer renters insurance. So we met with Glenn (which was around 2006) and talked to him about how we needed renters insurance which at that time was only a few dollars a month. Glenn also talked to us about their rates on car insurance which were much better than our previous insurance so we ended up switching the coverage for our car which we still have til this day. We no longer have renters insurance but we do own a home now but we do not have state farm as our home insurance.
