I first learned about this agent (Ms. Dixon) and her office at a local business expo, where she explained that she could probably get us lower rates on our homeowner’s and car insurance than we were getting through State Farm Insurance, our home (condo) and car insurance carrier at the time. So I went in to the office to speak with her and was immediately struck by how personable she and the others in the office were, compared to my local State Farm office. She laid out a variety of options from different companies and I felt good about our choice to go with Travelers Insurance, due to the level of coverage and overall cost savings. From that point on, I did not really have a reason to contact Ms. Dixon until I noticed on my Travelers bill that they did not deduct for my Defensive Driving course, the certificate from which I had supplied to Ms. Dixon. At first I was frustrated with Ms. Dixon’s failure to send this document along to Travelers, but in the course of a 3-way call with Ms. Dixon and a representative from Travelers, it became clear that Ms. Dixon had, in fact, sent the document, and it was Travelers that had neglected to account for the discount. So I was again pleased with the good communication I have with Ms. Dixon in handling any issues with Travelers. Overall then I have really had no complaints with Ms. Dixon or the Seely & Durland office in general, and have no plans to shop around for insurance anywhere else.
