I was with American Family for over 20 years and was pleased with their service. A new agent came into town by the name of Tammy, I think that was her name. She had someone come to my house and noted that the shingles needed to be replaced and let us know about it. We informed her that we were going to be adding an entire level onto our house within the next couple months and would not be replacing the shingles within that time. She had me put it in writing, which was no problem. Approximately a week later we got a letter in the mail that they were going to drop us from American Family if we did not get the shingles replaced. I certainly did not appreciate this and it made me angry. I called the company and received no response. I then went to State Farm and talked with Dave. He not only accepted what was going on, he also saved me a considerable amount of money for better insurance. Needless to say, I will never go back to American Family.
