I used to work with Lee at a motorcycle dealership. I signed up for insurance 15 years ago while I was at work. It was easy because I didn’t have to take time off and I saw him every day. Since then I renew online and haven’t seen or talked to him for 10 years. I’ve never had a claim and I barely drive because I’m disabled and going out is a hassle. I have insurance because it’s the law. 15 years of payments without a single claim. Kinda seems like a waste of money. In NC, you don’t drive if you don’t get your car inspected and have insurance. You have to get an inspection within something like 30 days of renewing your tags. That is also kind of a waste because somehow lots of people drive really loud trashy cars.
