   overall experience has certainly been positive with some minor issues that I wish hadn't been overlooked.

   Purchasing insurance from my local insurance agency was simple and straightforward. The employees are always friendly and helpful when I come into the office with any questions. The only real issue I had was recently my car insurance policy was about to expire and I needed to renew. I was paying around $120 a month for Progressive and I felt that this was too much. I shopped around and realized that I was being quoted at a much less monthly price than what I was currently paying. I went to my insurance agent and asked why my premium was so expensive when other agencies were quoting me at a lower price. Then, of course, my agent promptly found me an option from the various insurance policies that they offered that was dramatically cheaper than what I had with Progressive. I live in a very small community and I wish they had been more helpful in looking at other cheaper options when my coverage was about to renew. One has the impression that they were just trying to price gouge. Nonetheless, I am happy that they are always a phone call away and there to answer questions and concerns that I bring to them.
