A while back I was rear-ended. Since I was deemed not at fault, it was on the opposing driver’s insurance to cover my claim. However, their insurance only offered to cover 90% of my damages, and their estimate was several thousand dollars less than the actual damaged caused. When I went to my agent about this issue, he personally helped me with my case. My insurance personally covered all of the damages (ended up totaling my car and paying me more than double the cash value that the opposing agency offered), and started a lawsuit with the opposing firm to cover the costs. I paid nothing out of pocket, and my insurance rates went unaffected. This experience confirmed that my agent is reliable, and cares more about his customers than simply churning a profit.
This company and agent were recommended to me by family members who have been customers for many years, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. I have had State Farm insurance for as long as I’ve had my own insurance policy. I have never worked with another company and have no reason to change. Their customer service is excellent; someone is always available to answer my questions. Problems are solved in a timely fashion. Rates are reasonable, and they don’t try to upsell” me with more coverage than I need. I was able to get a discount by combining my auto and renter’s insurance policies, and there are other discounts available for safe driving, etc. I have the auto bill pay option set up, which is very convenient. My payment is made automatically each month, so I don’t need to buy stamps or even remember to do it.
