Plans Offered by MVP Health Care
MVP Health Care’s plans consist of four metal-theme categories, ranging from bronze to platinum. There are tiers within these plans to customize the coverage level and rates further.
Bronze Plan
Six tiers are available in the bronze plans designated as levels one through six, with level six having the highest out-of-pocket expenses.
For example, Premier Plus HDHP Bronze 6 has a $6,500 deductible for individuals and $13,050 for families. By comparison, Premier Plus Bronze 1 offers deductibles of $3,800 for individuals and $7,800 for families.
Currently, there are no options in the bronze plans for out-of-network coverage.
Silver Plan
MVP’s silver plans have a similar structure to its bronze plans, consisting of six tiers.
The highest deductible levels in its silver plans are $4,000 for individuals and $8,000 for families. Moving up to the highest level — Premier Plus Silver 1 — deductibles are $1,800 for individuals and $3,600 for families.
Like the bronze plan, there is no coverage for out-of-network care.
Gold Plan
Not surprisingly, the gold plan also breaks down into six tiers. It offers tiers with $0 deductibles, such as Premier Plus Gold 4. Other plans within the gold plan range from a $0 deductible to $3,200.
Platinum Plan
The platinum plans break from the three lower levels in the platinum only has three tiers to choose from instead of the six. All platinum level plans have $0 deductibles.
Visits for primary care range from $5 to $15 within the platinum level. A visit to a specialist ranges from $35 to $45.
Overall, MVP Health Care offers many options so customers can find a plan that best suits their needs and budget. With many tiers to choose from, it can become confusing when shopping and comparing prices to get free insurance quotes online. However, we admire having the choice to tailor a health insurance plan, even if at the expense of complexity.
